People only bring their underpants to meetings to prevent being recorded in secret recordings, according to a lawyer. Legal expert Augustine Obuor has disclosed that some persons have resorted to extreme methods when meeting with other people due to their fear of being covertly videotaped by others.
He pointed out that persons who wish to avoid such hidden recordings go to tremendous efforts to achieve their goal due to the sophisticated tools that can be used in them.
He demonstrated this by using those involved in the abhorrent criminal trade in cocaine, revealing that these individuals will go so far as to attend meetings in nothing but their boxers or briefs.
Lawyer Obuor stated in an interview with Okay FM’s Kwame Tikese that the fact that these drug dealers only wear underwear to their meetings is not just a matter of conjecture but is based on his experience as a lawyer for many years. The interview was about the secret recordings about the plot to assassinate Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
“Do you know what those involved in the illegal cocaine trade do? I’ll speak from personal experience. Some people only wear male underwear when they attend meetings so that the meetings can’t be recorded. Additionally, everyone leaves their phones outside the conference space. Therefore, nobody can capture what is spoken using any technologically advanced device, he said.
Technology advancements have made it possible for people to conceal recorders in mind-boggling ways, leading to an increase in the prevalence of secret recordings.
