Gospel musician argues Ghana is not a Christian country. Nicholas Omane Acheampong, a Ghanaian singer and composer, has contended that Ghana cannot be regarded as a Christian country, as many assert.
According to him, the majority of what happens in the so-called Christian-dominated country is contrary to Christian teachings and also contradicts Ghanaian moral norms.
The award-winning Gospel musician further stated that the country’s leadership’s silence on issues that are not socially correct renders the country ineligible to be labeled a Christian country.
“You assert that Ghana is a Christian country, but this is false. “Turn on your TV after 10 p.m. and you will see ritualists taking over the TV screens,” Nicholas Omane Acheampong said on Kingdom FM in an interview recorded by MyNewsGH.com.
“The foolishness that is going on in the country no longer qualifies it as a Christian country.” “The country has far too much nonsense,” he continued.
