Fameye discusses the motivation for “Menkoa,” one of his songs. Hip-hop artist Peter Famiyeh Bozah, better known by his stage name Fameye, has admitted that a family member’s behavior caused him to write one of his well-known songs, “Menkoa.”
The track was included on Fameye’s “Songs of Peter” album, which was published in 2022 and received a lot of positive reviews from music fans.
The opening lines of the song “Menkoa” introduce a disturbed individual.
Fameye mentioned during an interview on Asaase Radio that he had problems with one of his family members, which was the source of his inspiration for the lovely composition.
The musician acknowledged having some personal issues in addition to his family’s challenges.
According to him, “I think at the time I had issues with one of my family members and I was also going through something personally.”
So that day, Fameye said, she was listening to Kofi B‘s song “Mobrowa,” and she got a lot of inspiration from it in relation to what she and her family were going through.
