Bayern Munich will sign Granada winger Zaragoza in the summer. The Bundesliga champions said on Wednesday that Spanish winger Bryan Zaragoza will leave La Liga team Granada in the summer of 2024 to join Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old and the record German champions have agreed to a five-year contract.
“Bryan has been on our radar for a while and is one of Spain’s most interesting possibilities. He’ll give us more alternatives for offense. “We hope he has a great season with Granada and we are excited to have him join us in the summer,” stated Christoph Freund, the sporting director of Bayern Munich.
After spending a season on loan at El Ejido, Zaragoza played for Conejito de Malaga, his native team, before joining Granada in 2019. With 51 games played, the winger has tallied 10 goals and three assisted for Granada. Zaragoza made his debut for Spain’s national team in a 2-0 win over Scotland during a qualification for Euro 2024 in October.
Bryan Zaragoza is a versatile winger who possesses strength, speed, and agility. He is erratic, dangerous, and an excellent one-on-one player. He has a lot of talent and has already made his debut for the senior Spanish national team this year, according to Freund.
At the moment, Bayern Munich is ranked second in the Bundesliga. In their last Group A match of the UEFA Champions League, the reigning champions visit Manchester United after facing struggling Eintracht Frankfurt.
